Silk taffeta, lace Circa 1860s
Cream-colored draped dress made of silk moire taffeta. It has three parts: bodice, skirt, and triple bow at the back of the waist. The collar and sleeves are richly decorated with fringe, ribbons and silk appliqués. The tailing of the skirt has a train, typical for that period, and the front part has a hidden pocket.
